The WM website is developed and managed by the Australian War Memorial.

Conditions for registered account holders

In addition to the above terms, the following conditions apply to any account holders to the WM website.

Registered account holder conditions

By becoming a WM account holder you represent and warrant the following:

  1. The information that you have provided in connection with your WM account is true and correct.
  2. You understand that the information you provide through your account stored by the Australian War Memorial database which may be hosted by a contracted service provider to the Australian War Memorial.
  3. You understand that the information you provide through your account is held in secure database.
  4. You consent to your email address and any other contact details being used for the following purposes:
    1. to contact you in relation to important updates about the WM website
    2. to contact you for the purpose of research on your experience as a user of the WM website.
    3. to contact you in relation to relevant events, promotions and products.
  5. You will keep your account details, including username and password, secure at all times including by ‘logging out’ of the user pages when access is no longer required in a session.
  6. Any misuse of the WM website may result in revocation of your account.

Indemnity

As a user of this website and/or registered account holder, you indemnify the Australian War Memorial, its officers, employees and agents for any losses, damage, costs or liability suffered by the Australian War Memorial or the Commonwealth arising from your breach of these Terms of Use (including any conditions, warranties or representations) or arising from any act or omission by you or another person using your account (as applicable) in connection with this website.
